Even though California is known across the country as "The Land of Fruits and Nuts" God is definitely doing a marvelous work especially in the San Francisco Bay Area. Arlington Baptist Church of El Cerrito, California, pastored by 1979, 1982 and 1998 Hyles-Anderson College graduate, Dr. J. Michael Callaghan, recently observed their 16th annual "Big Day in May." On May 4, 2008 the church had 1,823 in attendance with 424 salvation decisions. Pastor Callaghan also recently celebrated his 17th anniversary as pastor of the Arlington Baptist Church.
