Dr. Ray Young — The New President of Hyles-Anderson College

Dr. Ray Young succeeded Dr. Wendell Evans as president of Hyles-Anderson College on Wednesday, September 5. In the past five years as co-president, Dr. Young has had the responsibility of administrating the college. His new title of president is commensurate with the responsibilities he carries.

Dr. Wendell Evans, now president emeritus, will continue his current schedule of teaching, counseling, leading singing in chapel, and representing the college in preaching engagements around the country. As the Lord allows, his influential ministry at Hyles-Anderson College will be continued for many years to come.

In a brief ceremony in the college chapel, Dr. Jack Schaap, chancellor, announced the transfer of titles. Both Dr. Evans and Dr. Young were presented with gifts of love for their service at Hyles-Anderson College. The Evans Auditorium will now house a plaque commemorating the appointment of Dr. Evans as the first ever president emeritus of Hyles-Anderson College.
