Valentine Banquet 2008

The biggest social event of the year at Hyles-Anderson College comes in the middle of February at the annual Valentine Banquet. This year's event was held at the Radisson Celebrity Ballroom in Merrillville, Indiana. Dressed in their formal attire, our students and staff were whisked away into the Wild West days of cowboys and Indians.

After a delicious meal, the Activities Department presented the full-length musical play entitled Under the Western Sky. Written by our Activities Director, Bro. Anthony Collins, this play took the viewers on an adventure into the days of the Wild West. From the tiny old-West town of Westin, Nevada, the annual cattle drive proved to be more than the boys would bargain for. Filled with tragedy, adventure and true love, Under the Western Sky was a 90-minute thriller for all attendees.
